About The Role

As a Senior Java Developer, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering secure, high-quality Java applications and services. You will work within a dynamic project team and collaborate with architects, technical leads, and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, develop, test, and implement Java applications and services in line with SDLC and enterprise frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to produce high-quality technical and support documentation.
• Develop and integrate Java applications across multiple platforms and databases.
• Supervise a team of developers and contribute to solution design discussions.
• Liaise with end users and external vendors to ensure robust, efficient, and secure outcomes.
• Ensure timely delivery of reliable applications using project control mechanisms.
  
  

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of Java development experience, with at least 2 years in a senior developer capacity.
• Proven success in delivering complex ICT projects within large-scale environments.
• Strong experience with:
• Java (1.7 to latest LTS)
• Spring Boot, Angular, React, Node.js
• CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins)
• Web Services (REST/SOAP), JMS/MQ
• MS SQL Server / Oracle
• Azure Application Development & Deployment
