About The Role
We’re looking for a Lead QA Automation Engineer to take ownership of the company’s automation strategy and help scale testing practices across the engineering organization.
You’ll work hands-on with tools like Cypress, Postman, and CI/CD pipelines, while also guiding a small QA team in defining best practices, improving coverage, and ensuring quality across all releases.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical ability with leadership skills and wants to have a real impact on product quality and delivery speed.
Your Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the company’s test automation strategy and frameworks.
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated test suites across web and API layers.
- Collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD integration.
- Mentor and support QA engineers, promoting best practices in automation and testing.
- Analyze system performance and proactively address quality bottlenecks.
- Drive continuous improvement across all stages of the delivery pipeline.
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation (web and/or API testing).
- Strong hands-on skills with Cypress (or Playwright), Postman, and related frameworks.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Good programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript (or Python).
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working in an international environment.
- A proactive mindset and a passion for improving quality through automation.
