You will be collaborating with a cross-functional team to build a brand-new Android app from the ground up.
What You'll Do
Architect and build a new Android app using Kotlin and modern frameworks
Collaborate with designers, PMs, and backend engineers to deliver features quickly
Make key decisions around app structure, performance, and scalability
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Debug issues, optimize performance, and iterate fast
Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and release cycles
Help drive momentum and clarity in a fast-moving, sometimes messy environment
What You'll Need
3+ years of Android development experience
Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack libraries, and Android architecture components
Experience building apps from scratch or working on greenfield projects
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment
Bonus: experience in financial services or regulated industries
Available to work onsite in Toronto 3-4 days per week
