Project Manager - External Manufacturing

Job Description

A Project Manager – External Manufacturing, is required by CareerWise Recruitment to join our based Co Cork based Biopharma manufacturing client. Role joins the site API EM Operations Team providing leadership and expertise to reliably supply and commercialise externally manufactured APIs, intermediates and starting materials. 12-month initial contract role.

ROLE

• Manage tech transfer plans for new products.
• Facilitate Internal and Joint Process Team meetings.
• Support supply chain and quality with batch release and shipment management.
• Support the integration of API EM project planning with internal stakeholder plans.
• Provide project management mentorship and support to other APIEM Team members (who are responsible for project execution and leadership)
• Provide quality and timely insights using project management tools (Project plans, MS Project reports, Jira boards, reports from project-specific systems, risk management tools, decision logs, meeting minutes, status updates, etc)
• Utilise appropriate tools and techniques to monitor and control the project (e.g. Metrics, dashboards, and scorecards)
• Support Continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering/Science, or another engineering/project management discipline with extensive pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
• 3-4 + years of work experience in a manufacturing operations, technical transfer or Project Management related roles.
• Experience in typical unit operations for large molecule expression and purification, peptides and/or small molecule manufacture preferred.
