Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Pipeline Developer to design, develop, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using YAML-based configurations in Azure DevOps. The role involves implementing automated build, test, and deployment workflows, ensuring efficient, secure, and reliable delivery processes across multiple environments for the applications in transport domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and optimise Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (YAML-based) to support automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Integrate quality gates, automated testing, and security scanning into the pipeline workflows.
- Manage artifact repositories, environment promotions, and release versioning across multiple environments.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance pipeline performance and reliability.
- Implement and maintain branching and merging strategies using Git for streamlined version control.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and audit requirements in all pipeline operations.
- Deliver automated deployment capabilities supporting multi-environment releases for applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD pipeline issues, maintaining stability and high availability.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps pipeline development and management.
- Strong proficiency in YAML scripting for pipeline configuration.
- Expertise in Git branching strategies, artifact management, and release automation.
- Experience integrating automated testing and security scanning tools within pipelines.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates is an advantage.
- Good understanding of DevOps principles, Agile methodologies, and software development lifecycles.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Administrator Associate.
- Prior experience working in regulated environments or financial domain projects.
