Scrum Master Intern

BroadPress is a next-generation corporate CMS and a powerful WordPress alternative, built for enterprises demanding speed, reliability, and scalability. Developed on the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) with Cloudinary integration, it ensures high performance, flexibility, and optimized media management for content-heavy websites.

We are looking for passionate candidates to join this mega project through a remote internship where candidates can access great opportunities to learn, lead, and contribute while sharpening skills in real-world projects. Interns will work with developers on open-source initiatives, optimize performance, integrate APIs, work with modern databases, know the latest technologies of the modern IT industry and gain hands-on experience building responsive, scalable web applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and facilitating Scrum ceremonies such as Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.  
• Help the team identify and remove obstacles that may impede their progress, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery.  
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment.  
• Monitor and track sprint progress, ensuring that the team is adhering to agreed-upon timelines and meeting key milestones.  
• Assist in maintaining the product backlog and help the team prioritize tasks effectively.  
• Promote and support Scrum best practices and Agile methodologies.  
• Help the team stay focused, foster a collaborative team environment, and encourage continuous improvement.  
• Provide reports on team performance and suggest improvements to processes or workflows.  

Preferred Skills or Interests

• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and the role of the Scrum Master.  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate team collaboration.  
• Ability to identify and solve problems and facilitate decision-making.  
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.  
• Ability to maintain a positive and motivating environment for the team.  
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  
• A proactive and adaptable approach to learning and growth.
