We are seeking a passionate Next.js Developer Intern to support the development of high-performance, SEO-friendly, and scalable web applications. The intern will work closely with our development team to build responsive front-end interfaces, integrate APIs, and improve performance using Next.js and React.js.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in building, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications using Next.js.
- Implement and enhance UI/UX designs in collaboration with the design and backend teams.
- Develop reusable components and ensure clean, maintainable code structure.
- Optimize web performance, rendering speed, and SEO effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues across devices and browsers.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and other third-party services.
- Ensure responsive, accessible, and user-friendly application interfaces.
- Stay up to date with Next.js, React.js, and front-end development trends.
Preferred Skills or Interests
- Strong foundation in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, and familiarity with Next.js.
- Experience with TypeScript (preferred).
- Knowledge of SSR, SSG, and dynamic routing in Next.js.
- Familiarity with state management tools (Redux, Context API, Zustand).
- Understanding of React Hooks, functional components, and lifecycle methods.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, and component libraries like Material-UI.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Exposure to GraphQL, Firebase, or Vercel deployment is a plus.
- Interest in SEO optimization and web performance tuning is a bonus.
