Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough market research and evaluation of modern CMS platforms suitable for a medical news publishing environment.
- Independently gather and synthesize information from vendor websites, product documentation, and other relevant sources.
- Prepare detailed written deliverables and reports (e.g., spreadsheets) summarizing key CMS features, pricing models, and technical requirements.
- Analyze and document the structure, features, and content types of the current CMS to support migration strategy.
- Provide ongoing support throughout the CMS migration project by understanding user needs and helping manage timelines.
- Maintain strong asynchronous communication with stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely reporting.
- Stay informed on the latest trends in digital publishing, including headless CMS, editorial workflows, and enterprise publishing solutions.
- Ideally, bring prior experience working with large media sites in implementing or migrating enterprise CMS platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience with enterprise-level CMS platforms, ideally in digital publishing or media industries.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written communication skills, especially for asynchronous collaboration and reporting.
- Understanding of modern CMS paradigms such as headless CMS and content workflows.
- Experience supporting or managing CMS migration projects is highly desirable.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Nice to have
- Background working within medical or healthcare-related publishing.
- Familiarity with technical aspects of CMS products, including APIs, integrations, and hosting options.
