About Dot Robot
Come aboard as we push forward in our mission to create intelligent machines that pave the way for a cleaner, healthier and fairer world! With our rapid growth, we’re constantly looking for people who share our vision – from ambitious new talent to seasoned professionals. We offer a diverse, full-time role packed with daily technical challenges, plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and loads of perspective.
Dot Robot is on a mission! We apply our state-of-art automotion and control technology to solve tough global challenges around sustainable mobility and the energy transistion.
We develop and built electric drivetrains – drive controllers, motors, energy management – for robots, electric vehicles and machines. By integrating our electrical engineering, mechatronics and embedded software skills, we have put a range of fantastic machines in motion in the last couple of years.
Our drivetrains are increasingly intelligent. We are accelerating the integration of AI – by developing both the software and the supporting hardware – to increase the efficiency, robustness and performance of our machines.
About The Role
We’re looking for full-time (100%-80%) Embedded Software Engineers; we’re open to graduates or experienced people for either entry level or lead positions. With your help, we will design and build robots, machines and vehicles that push the bounderies on innovation and intelligence.
You will collaborate intensively with your hardware electronics, mechatronics and sytem & control colleagues, allowing you to experience the impact of your work in real, functioning products. Having “a feel” for hardware is a must for you to take the most of that collaboration.
We would expect you to use your expertise and interest in low-level embedded C/C++, application-level PLC languages, or both, to translate requirements into specifications, design and implement architectures and build top-noth code. Prototyping, tuning and testing, preparing for production, development or upgrades and maintenance are important aspects of your job as well.
Working at a start-up means lots of freedom to develop yourself technically and as the all-round professional you would like to be. From day one, you will be a core member of the team and your contribution will be decisive for our customers and for DOT Robot’s future.
We offer
We’re An Engineering-driven Team With Great Ambition. That Means Interesting Work, And Just As Well, Ample Opportunity To Relax, Think And Reflect. After-hour Drinks Are Not Reserved For Fridays Only And Our Team Outings Are Legendary (at Least, That’s What We’d Like To Think). We’re a Team With a Capital “T”, Which Means In Our Case
An engineer by heart, a very good one if we may add. We are keen to extend our team with people with either a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems or equivalent; it’s the combination of both the theoratical and the applied engineering that we foster. It’s not about degrees by the way, if you believe you are who we’re looking for, please do get in touch. Apply to [email protected], or give us a call at +31 15 202 6133.
