Overview

PepsiCo is on the lookout for a HR Coordinator to join our team in Eastgate, Cork on a specified purpose contract up to 12 months.

Reporting into the HR Operations Assoc Supervisor, in this role you will be responsible for providing a first-class front of hours reception service while also supporting the broader People team throughout the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Operate an efficient front of house service in the assigned location where all visitors are tended to in a timely, professional, and friendly manner
  • Manage all reception duties to include, but not limited to;
    • Answering daily queries from employees
    • Managing visitors to the site including organising Personal Protective Equipment gear where relevant
    • ID badge creation
    • Internal and external mail management
  • Support the extended People Team in various tasks by providing an all-encompassing HR administrative support service to include, but not limited to:
    • manage the employee life cycle and relevant HR processes across PGCS
    • maintain employee and invoice filing to audit standards
    • co-ordinate the HR Rota’s applicable across the HR Ops team
    • roll out, coordination and follow up of designated HR initiatives
    • ensuring all employee relations issues/queries are dealt with effectively and efficiently
    • coordination of site reward & recognition requirements
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the People Team.
  • A requirement of this role is that you must adhere to all PepsiCo Health, Safety & Environmental Requirements.
  • The above is not an exhaustive list and the successful candidate will be expected to conduct all reasonable requests in line with their role and responsibilities

Qualifications

Essential Criteria:

  • Recently graduated within the last 2 years in a relevant field (to NFQ Level 7 or above) with a minimum 2.1 qualification in same being highly preferred.
  • HR degree or equivalent (CIPD qualified desirable)
  • Excellent Interpersonal/Communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Exhibit a strong ‘can-do’, ‘will-do’ attitude and strong sense of urgency in meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent Administration skills, coupled with an innate attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of an extended HR Team
  • Strong computer skills (experience of Kronos and SAP an advantage)

Additional Desired qualifications and/or experience:

  • Experience working in a multinational organisation and / or manufacturing industry is an advantage
  • Results orientated and commitment to achieving objectives.
  • Ability to integrate well within a team environment, both in person and remote
  • Natural ability to adapt to change readily with ease, ability to handle unforeseen requests effectively
  • High level of integrity and discretion essential
