How You Make a Difference
- As part of the DevOps team, you develop sophisticated native Android apps that make processes more efficient and simplify our employees' day-to-day work.
- You develop new functionalities using Kotlin in line with modern Android best practices. You also update existing Java code through targeted refactoring using reactive programming.
- Together with your team, you ensure code is clean and tested and you contribute to achieving sprint goals efficiently and sustainably. You contribute your expertise in architecture, clean code and performance optimization and take our apps to the next level.
- You work closely with UX, backend and the business to create innovative mobile solutions with real added value.
- You challenge existing approaches constructively and play an active role in driving forward Swiss Post's digital transformation.
- A university degree with a focus on software development or comparable practical experience forms your professional background.
- Several years of experience in Android development with Java or Kotlin with a focus on quality, scalability and user experience.
- You use design patterns such as MVC, MCP, MVVM or SOLID in a targeted manner and you are familiar with RESTful APIs as well as Swagger.
- You ideally have experience with testing at all levels (unit, integration, UI, end-to-end).
- You enjoy working in agile teams, have an entrepreneurial mindset and make informed technical decisions in order to achieve economically sustainable solutions.
- You have a good spoken and written command of German and good knowledge of English.
