Java Software Engineer

A key client of ours is looking for a number of Java Developers who can act as Software Development Facilitators in an interesting long term hybrid project in Luxembourg.

Job Title: Java Software Engineer

Contract Duration: 9 months (w/ likely extensions)

Location: Luxembourg (hyrbid)

Freelance / B2B contract or Payroll

40 hours a week / Full-time

Overview:

We are seeking experienced Java Developers (Software Development Facilitators) to support application teams with transitions, migrations, and workload peaks. Working as part of a transversal team, you’ll enhance delivery speed, maintain quality, and promote best practices across development streams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support development teams with technical guidance and solutions.
• Provide and maintain CMS/Portal packages.
• Research and implement technical solutions; deliver PoCs and training.
• Participate in peer coding, code reviews, and pipeline management.
• Handle ServiceNow tickets, source code, and CI/CD tasks.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong background in Java and JavaScript development.
• Proficient in DevSecOps tools and practices.
• Experience resolving SonarQube and AppScan findings.
• Good understanding of enterprise architecture and deployment.
• Flexible, autonomous, and able to switch between multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills; English C1, French a plus.
