Data Platform Engineer

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Building integrations for the data catalog to make data discovery seamless
• Developing platform tooling that helps teams create their own data lakes and reduces setup time from months to days
• Supporting the modernization of the data warehouse and with tools like dbt and piloting data quality frameworks
• Collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to ensure that data is reliable, secure, and easy to uss
• Mentoring and supporting other engineers, sharing best practices and helping strengthen our engineering culture

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience working with AWS (especially Glue, S3, Lake Formation, Athena — but it’s okay if you don’t have experience with all of them)
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (Spark is a plus)
• Understanding of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform)
• Experience with Docker and at least basic familiarity with Kubernetes
• Interest in platform engineering, data product thinking, and data mesh principles
• Attention to detail, a holistic mindset, and the ability to guide others
