Job Title: GKE–Anthos Infrastructure Engineer

Job Brief:

We’re looking for a skilled and passionate GKE–Anthos Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll help design, build, and manage hybrid cloud environments using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Anthos. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies, support key upgrades, and help our clients modernize their infrastructure for better performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage and perform upgrades for GKE On-Prem and Cloud clusters.
  • Design and deploy Anthos across on-premises, Google Cloud, and other public cloud platforms.
  • Configure and maintain Anthos Service Mesh, Config Management, and Migrate.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and governance across Anthos environments.
  • Automate infrastructure and cluster operations using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GKE, Anthos, and integrated tools.
  • Work with DevOps and app teams to modernize legacy systems using containers and microservices.
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of hybrid cloud setups.
  • Maintain clear documentation for configurations, upgrades, and operations.
  • Lead or participate in workshops and training sessions for teams and clients.
  • Offer technical guidance on Anthos and hybrid cloud best practices.


Qualifications:


  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes.
  • Proven experience managing Anthos and GKE (Cloud & On-Prem).
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting hybrid environments.
  • Knowledge of ELK Stack, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Nexus, and SonarQube.
  • Familiar with GitHub for version control and collaboration.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferred Certifications:
  • Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect or Kubernetes Engineer
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • Anthos or Apigee-related certifications (added advantage)
