iOS Software Engineer (Contract)

• Location: Hybrid, 1-2 days/week in Amsterdam office
• Duration: 6 months (possible extension)
• Rate: €100 per hour (40 hours per week)

A global leader in online travel is seeking an experienced iOS Software Engineer II to join its growing Ads Engineering team. You will help build and scale a next-generation advertising platform powering multiple international brands and enabling accommodation partners to increase visibility and bookings through advanced ad solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Develop high-quality iOS app features and UI components
• Break large technical tasks into manageable deliverables
• Estimate development effort and prioritise tasks based on impact
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Backend, Product, QA, Mobile)
• Ensure high performance and reliability by monitoring crashes and resolving production issues
• Contribute to build & release processes for mobile apps

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years experience in software engineering
• 3+ years building iOS apps (Swift + SwiftUI)
• Strong knowledge of iOS SDK & Xcode
• Experience integrating backend services into mobile apps
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues at scale
• Detail-driven, proactive, and collaborative mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience in large-scale consumer mobile products
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile test automation
• Passion for delivering exceptional user experiences
