Software Developer – AWS Serverless & TypeScript

We’re looking for an experienced Software Developer for our client with strong expertise in AWS Serverless architecture and TypeScript. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable, robust, and cost-efficient development support services for our internal Microservices platform. You’ll have the opportunity to shape cloud-native solutions with a strong focus on automation, security, and engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain serverless applications on AWS using TypeScript.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to strategic technical decisions.
• Ensure high code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and developers to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Implement and advocate for best practices in security, scalability, and performance.

Technical Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years working on AWS serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, EventBridge, Step Functions).
• Strong production experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Serverless Framework.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, etc.).
• Solid background in test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing using Jest, Mocha, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles (IAM, least privilege, secrets management).
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting using CloudWatch, X-Ray, or similar tools.
