The Role

Surbana Jurong is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the position of Mechanical Engineer to support the construction and commissioning of a major power and renewable energy project. The role involves supervising on-site mechanical installations, ensuring quality and compliance with design, safety, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise installation of piping, pumps, valves, compressors, and rotating equipment.
• Review mechanical drawings, designs, and materials for compliance.
• Oversee alignment, welding, pressure, and performance testing.
• Ensure adherence to ASME, API, ISO, and project specifications.
• Monitor QA/QC documentation and site progress.
• Coordinate with electrical and I&C teams for system integration.
  
  
  

Key Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in mechanical supervision of power plants, including at least two renewable (preferably wind) projects.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, piping systems, and QA/QC procedures.

• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
