Panel Builder - Electrical CAD Engineer

We’re on the lookout for a Electrical CAD Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in electrical design and panel layout work for building automation systems.

What you’ll be doing:

• Create detailed electrical designs and schematics using CAD software
• Develop wiring diagrams, layouts, and panel designs for control systems
• Size and specify MCBs, transformers, and 24V power supplies
• Prepare supporting documentation including panel schedules, bill of materials, and equipment specifications
• Maintain accurate design records and as-built documentation
• Work closely with the engineering team to understand project requirements and ensure accurate integration of I/O components

What we’re looking for:

• Qualification in Electrical Design, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Experience with AutoCAD, EPLAN, or WSCAD for electrical schematics
• Understanding of I/O wiring, MCB sizing, and control panel design
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• A collaborative approach with the ability to learn from senior engineers
• Familiarity with Trend or Tridium systems is a plus but not essential
