Job Role 

As an Associate Regulatory IT Advisor, you will support our clients in ensuring the resilience and security of their ICT infrastructure.  

In this role, you act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the ever-evolving landscape of compliance, data protection, and IT governance. You will assess their current systems, identify gaps, and support them in implementing controls that align with legal and regulatory frameworks such as the DORA Regulation, GDPR, or EBA Guidelines. 

What you will do 

• Assist with the definition, documentation and continuous improvement of the clients ICT Control Framework (policies, procedures, roles, risk registers, etc) 
• Learn to apply the MAQIT Framework and equivalent guidelines or industry frameworks to your clients control framework. 
• Assist with answering client questions related to IT compliance and regulatory standards (with team support). 
• Gather and prepare compliance documentation for audits or internal reviews. 
• Create reports on third-party oversight and regulatory obligations. 
• Support the client with their regulatory notifications and incident notifications (based on the MAQIT Framework and with support from the team). 
• Support risk assessments, contribute to the identification and mitigation of your Client’s ICT related risks. 
• Participate in training sessions, webinars, and client workshops (mainly as support or co-host). 
• Work on internal organization and documentation. 
• Assess client systems and identify potential compliance gaps over time. 
• Project management of clients.

• Fluent in English – essential for our international client base. 
• German and/or French – a strong plus, but not required. 

Your background 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business, Law, or a related field. 
• Any internships or experience related to compliance, IT security, or regulated industries are a plus. 
• Interest in financial services, data protection, or IT governance. 
• Regulatory knowledge in GDPR or DORA is a plus – but not required. We’ll help you learn. 
• Practical experience in ICT risk management and internal controlling frameworks and / or qualification as a practitioner in common industry standards such as ISO27001 is a plus. 
• Practical experience in Project Management Assistance is a plus.  
• Relevant experience – At least 3 years of proven experience in ICT Advisory or ICT Aduit, or ICT Internal Controlling.
