An exceptional opportunity for a proven Investment Banking Director to join a leading global financial advisory and capital markets firm, driving deal execution and client engagement across the Benelux region.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded banking professional with deep transaction experience, strong client relationships, and the ambition to play a key role in expanding the firm’s European footprint.

About the Role

As Director, you’ll lead origination and execution of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory mandates for corporate and financial sponsor clients.

You’ll work closely with senior management to deepen relationships, drive new mandates, and deliver high-impact solutions to clients across sectors such as industrial, energy, and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate, lead, and execute M&A and capital markets transactions.
• Develop and maintain C-suite and investor relationships across Benelux and Europe.
• Provide strategic advice on valuations, capital structures, and market positioning.
• Mentor and develop junior bankers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with global sector teams to bring cross-border opportunities to clients.
• Represent the firm at industry events and in client-facing forums.

What You Bring

• 10+ years of investment banking or corporate finance experience.
• Proven track record executing M&A, ECM, or DCM transactions.
• Established network across Benelux corporates, private equity, and institutional investors.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and leadership capabilities.
• Fluent in English; Dutch or another European language an advantage.
• EU work authorization required.
