**Job Summary:**

As a Senior Java Developer, you will design, develop, and optimize complex applications for our smart TV platform. Our Engineering team seeks the most talented individuals who can contribute to building a dynamic, innovative, and globally-minded organization. **Key Responsibilities:**

- **Design and Develop:**

 - Build and maintain Java-based applications for our smart TV streaming platform.

 - Implement SSAI solutions to seamlessly integrate ads into video content.

 - Integrate and manage DRM technologies to protect content rights.

 - Develop and maintain content management systems for efficient content distribution.

 - Implement EPG management solutions to provide users with up-to-date program guides.

- **Technical Leadership:**

 - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

 - Lead architectural discussions and code reviews to ensure best practices.

- **Collaboration:**

 - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and UX designers, to define and implement new features.

 - Collaborate with DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and operation of services.

- **Optimization and Scaling:**

 - Optimize application performance for scalability and reliability.

 - Implement caching strategies and CDN integrations to improve streaming efficiency.

 - Leverage AWS cloud services exclusively for infrastructure and deployment.

- **Innovation:**

 - Stay updated with emerging trends in video streaming, DRM, ad technologies, content management, and EPG systems.

 - Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance user experience.

- **Troubleshooting:**

 - Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments.

 - Perform root cause analysis for service failures and implement fixes.

**Qualifications:**

- **Education:**

 - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

- **Experience:**

 - Minimum of 5 years of professional Java development experience.

 - Proven experience with video streaming technologies (HLS, MPEG-DASH).

 - Strong background in Digital Rights Management (DRM) systems.

 - Experience with server-side ad insertion techniques.

 - Experience with content management systems (CMS).

 - Experience with Electronic Program Guide (EPG) management.

- **Technical Skills:**

 - Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate).

 - Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

 - Familiarity with ad serving protocols (VAST, VPAID, VMAP).

 - Knowledge of streaming media protocols and codecs.

 - Experience with AWS cloud platform exclusively.

 - Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

 - Proficient with database systems (SQL and NoSQL databases).

- **Soft Skills:**

 - Excellent problem-solving abilities.

 - Strong communication and teamwork skills.

 - Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
