This Position Reports To

HR Business Partner

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a member of the HR team at the Electrification Smart Power – Power Protection manufacturing unit at Quartino, you will contribute to delivering HR initiatives that create value and enhance overall business performance.

The work model for the role is onsite.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

  • HR Operations & Support: Assist HR Business Partners with daily HR activities, including recruitment for production workers, onboarding, time & attendance, and coordination with HR Services for administration and payroll.
  • Policy & Compliance: Support the application of HR policies, ensuring alignment with ABB’s Code of Conduct, internal procedures, and Swiss employment legislation.
  • Employee Engagement: Contribute to employee experience through engagement initiatives and internal communications.
  • Projects & Continuous Improvement: Participate in HR projects and facilitate process improvements to support evolving business needs.

Qualifications For The Role

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
  • 2 years of experience in the Human Resources department with a solid understanding of HR processes and Swiss regulations.
  • Established experience in HR administration activities.
  • HR Knowledge: Basic understanding of key HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation & benefits.
  • Effective communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Skilled in teamworking and demonstrates motivation toward results and improvement.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, German will be considered as a plus.
