You will be part of an awesome team that works with cutting-edge technologies. Collaborate with the broader development department to deliver secure, mission-critical solutions. Design, develop, and maintain both functional and non-functional requirements. Build web applications and services that power secure, scalable, and highly available systems. Contribute directly to innovation across our security platform product line.
You’ll be expected to demonstrate technical independence while also being a strong collaborator. You’ll support less-experienced team members when needed, while continuing to sharpen your own technical depth across the stack.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Web Developer, your role will balance hands-on development with opportunities to contribute to architecture and mentoring . Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing full-stack solutions: Building responsive, user-friendly front ends and scalable, secure back-end services.
- Owning product features: Taking responsibility for features from concept to deployment, including planning, coding, testing, and release.
- Automating and improving development workflows: Enhancing build, test, and deployment automation using GitLab CI/CD.
- Maintaining secure and reliable products: Applying secure coding practices, functional testing, and performance optimization.
- Integrating with databases and third-party systems: Designing and optimizing relational databases, APIs, and supporting services.
- Collaborating across teams: Partnering with DevOps engineers, system administrators, and technical writers to deliver complete solutions.
- Contributing to documentation: Assisting with system and end-user documentation to support adoption and maintenance.
- Staying ahead of the curve: Keeping current with web development frameworks, security practices, and cloud-native technologies.
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack software development
- PHP and Laravel Framework: 5 years of experience with PHP and the Laravel framework, with a proven track record of developing robust, scalable web applications.
- Relational Databases: 5 years of experience with relational databases, particularly MariaDB and MySQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Front-End Technologies: Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React) is a plus.
- Linux Environments: Extensive experience with Linux environments, especially Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). Candidates should be comfortable with all aspects of RHEL, including system administration, package management, and security configurations.
- Bash Scripting: Proficiency in Bash scripting and Linux automation tasks to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Version Control: Experience with Git (GitLab/GitHub) and collaborative workflows. Familiarity with branching strategies and pull request workflows is essential.
- CI/CD Practices: Exposure to CI/CD practices, with a preference for experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC), Cross Domain, or other secure communications environments
- Knowledge of PKI, identity management, and authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT, SAML)
- Experience with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with TDD, functional programming concepts, or design patterns
- Willingness to explore new languages and frameworks (Rust, Python, Node.js)
- Framework-specific certifications (e.g., Laravel)
