MacGregor Black is partnering with a market-leading retailer to find a Head of E-commerce. This is a permanent role based in Oslo.

As the Head of E-commerce, you will lead the digital strategy and execution for the company’s e-commerce operations, with a particular focus on the Nordic region. You will be responsible for overseeing the development, optimization, and scaling of digital channels, ensuring the business meets its ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the company’s e-commerce strategy to drive sales and improve customer experience.
• Oversee the development and optimization of the company’s e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless digital journeys.
• Lead a cross-functional team of digital marketing, analytics, and e-commerce professionals.
• Utilize data analytics to monitor and improve site performance and customer retention.
• Collaborate with IT, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure smooth integration of e-commerce systems.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, with a track record of leading successful teams.
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, including Centra, Shopify, Magento, and digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEO, CRM systems).
• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
