Machine Learning Engineer – Agentic AI / LLMs | Remote (Germany) | €80K-€100K DOE

The Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll take full ownership of designing and productionising intelligent systems that make automation smarter and more autonomous.

You’ll work hands-on across the full lifecycle, from prototyping to deploying LLM-based agents that interact, reason, and learn in real time.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Building and scaling AI agents and LLM-driven systems that deliver measurable outcomes.
• Writing clean, scalable, and maintainable Python code that supports fast experimentation and stable deployments.
• Designing pipelines and APIs to integrate LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and prompt engineering into production environments.
• Deploying and optimising solutions on AWS, ensuring reliability, monitoring, and performance at scale.
• Working in an agile, fast-moving team where initiative, adaptability, and technical depth are valued over titles.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to translate vision into shipped functionality.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning, AI engineering, or software development.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, including experience writing production-grade, testable, and scalable code.
• Strong background in LLMs, Generative AI, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
• Proven experience deploying ML or AI systems on AWS into production environments.
• Solid grasp of agile methodologies, experimentation workflows, and version control.
• A proactive mindset, you’re motivated to move quickly, think critically, and take ownership of outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
