What you’ll be doing

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and design specifications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system.
• Perform different types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Analyze test results and provide clear and concise reports to the development team.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of the software.
• Participate in reviews of requirements and design documents to provide feedback on testability.
• Automate test cases where appropriate to improve efficiency and test coverage.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and methodologies.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and technologies.

What you will need to succeed

• Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
