Next-Generation Firewall Engineer – 12-Month Contract

Remote | Occasional Travel | Global Security Organisation

We’re working with a global security leader who needs a Next-Generation Firewall Engineer with solid hands-on experience.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing, deploying, and managing Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) solutions (Palo Alto experience strongly preferred)
• Creating and maintaining firewall policies, NAT rules, security profiles, and threat prevention configs
• Troubleshooting complex network and security issues across global environments
• Working closely with architecture and operations teams to improve security posture
• Supporting or leading firewall migration projects from legacy firewalls to NGFW platforms

What we’re looking for

• Proven hands-on engineering experience with next-generation firewalls
• Strong experience with Palo Alto Networks NGFW (Pan-OS, security policies, App-ID, User-ID)
• Experience with enterprise-level firewall deployments, upgrades, and cutovers
• Migration experience is a major advantage (from legacy firewalls to Palo Alto or similar)
• Must be fluent in Spanish (spoken and written)
• Someone who takes ownership — not someone waiting for instructions

Contract Details

• 12-month contract
• Fully remote
• Occasional travel when required (not frequent)
