We are looking for an experienced Java Engineer to join our dynamic team with one of the biggest players in finance in the country - a Nordic bank with strong local roots and bridges to the rest of the world. For more than 145 years, they have helped people and businesses in the Nordics realise their ambitions. You would be a part of the Personal & Business Customers team at our client company.

How You'll Spend Your Day
- Refactor the code base.
- Reduce the complexity of the code base.
- Coach younger colleagues.
- Maintain and improve code.
- Develop new features.
- Participate in production releases.
- Participate in incident management.
- Design and develop cloud-native systems.
- Write tests.
- Experience with Java (5+ years), Kotlin, Spring Boot, REST, Junit, MQ, ElasticSearch.
- Experience in building Cloud-Native solutions & using cloud infrastructure (AWS experience would be a bonus).
- Understanding of CI/CD principles, with bonus points for familiarity with Azure DevOps.
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility to carry out deliveries in a structured manner.
- Ability to suggest technical solutions and openly share them with a team.
- Strong focus on code quality.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Upper-Intermediate English skills.
