Location: Remote Canada

Role description : As a BI Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing complex data sets, deriving actionable insights, and creating compelling visualizations to drive informed decision-making. Proficiency in Azure and Power-BI is essential for this role as we leverage these technologies extensively in our data infrastructure. Prior knowledge or experience on Microsoft fabric is good to have.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of large and complex datasets to uncover key insights and trends. Utilize statistical methods and data mining techniques to extract meaningful patterns.
2. Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power-BI. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure deliverables meet business needs.
3. Data Modeling: Develop and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics initiatives. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across various sources.
4. Data Visualization: Create visually appealing and intuitive visualizations to effectively communicate insights and findings. Utilize best practices in data visualization to enhance understanding and decision-making.
5. Data Integration: Work closely with data engineers and developers to integrate data from multiple sources into a centralized data warehouse. Ensure seamless data flow and accessibility for reporting and analysis.
6. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the performance of BI solutions, identifying areas for optimization and improvement. Proactively address issues to ensure reliability and efficiency.

Documentation and Training: Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings. Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and techniques.
