The Role
Surbana Jurong is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the position of Commissioning Engineer to support the execution of a major renewable energy project. The role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising commissioning activities for electrical, mechanical, and I&C systems to ensure systems meet design, safety, and performance requirements.

The Role
Surbana Jurong is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the position of Commissioning Engineer to support the execution of a major renewable energy project. The role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising commissioning activities for electrical, mechanical, and I&C systems to ensure systems meet design, safety, and performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute commissioning activities for electrical, mechanical, and control systems on site.
- Review design documents, equipment datasheets, and vendor manuals to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and implement commissioning procedures, checklists, and schedules.
- Conduct pre-commissioning inspections, functional tests, and system integration tests.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Verify system performance against design parameters, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Document commissioning activities, prepare reports, and manage punch lists.
- Provide training and handover guidance to operations and maintenance teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in commissioning of renewable energy projects.
- Hands-on experience with testing, instrumentation calibration, control system verification, and safety standards.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and procedures accurately.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and timely project delivery.
