Senior Software Engineer (Node.js & Golang) - Hybrid in Dubai

We are partnered with a fast-growing, E-Commerce company based in Dubai, looking to add to their Engineering teams as their expansion plans are heating up 🔥 Our partner isn't just looking for an individual contributor, we need candidates with a passion for engineering and someone who wants to be a key part of the company's culture.

Tech Stack:

Node.js, Golang, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Typescript, MongoDB, AWS, Kubernetes, Microservices

Salary:

Up to 30,000 AED per month

What You'll Do:

Craft new features and APIs
Maintain and enhance the current backend system
Migrate services from Node.js to Golang
Collaborate closely with QA and Product teams to deliver results
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code
Be willing to contribute across the fullstack where needed
Optimize apps for performance, speed, and scalability
Integrate with databases, messaging brokers, and other components to boost functionality
Engage in code reviews, promoting best practices and high-quality code
Contribute towards system design, design patterns and software architecture

What You Need:

Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer
Strong background in building scalable systems
MUST HAVE proven expertise in; Golang (extensive Node.js will work), Kafka, REST APIs, Distributed systems
Experience with TDD
Knowledge of Elasticsearch
Expertise in MongoDB, NoSQL
Knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes is very beneficial
