Senior Software Engineer – Java

Location: Abu Dhabi (relocation package available)

Salary: 28,000 – 30,000 AED per month

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a fast-scaling Cybersecurity company, take end-to-end ownership of complex systems, from architecture and design through to deployment and observability. This is a senior individual contributor role where you will operate with a high level of autonomy, driving technical excellence while influencing engineering standards across teams.

You will play a key role in shaping the medium- to long-term technical direction, working on scalable, distributed systems and ensuring best-in-class performance, security, and reliability. Alongside hands-on engineering, you will mentor other engineers and collaborate closely with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Required Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering
• You’ve designed, built, and operated microservices, and understand OOD and design patters
• Solid knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and RESTful APIs
• Experience with relational databases and caching technologies like Redis
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud (AWS/GCP), and CI/CD pipelines
• Solid experience with observability tools (metrics, logs, tracing)
• Understanding of performance, scalability, and system reliability and a Security-first mindset
