This role offers the chance to work on modernising core systems, introducing event-driven architecture, and driving technical initiatives alongside an experienced Tech Lead, Principal Architect, and skilled development team.

About the Role:
A technology-focused organisation in Sundsvall is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join their growing engineering team. This role offers the chance to work on modernising core systems, introducing event-driven architecture, and driving technical initiatives alongside an experienced Tech Lead, Principal Architect, and skilled development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to the design and implementation of scalable backend services and APIs.
- Shape system architecture with a strong focus on performance, maintainability, and security.
- Develop event-driven components using technologies such as Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
- Drive improvements across CI/CD pipelines for smooth and reliable deployments.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (frontend, data, product) to deliver impactful solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and foster a high-quality engineering culture.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in C# / .NET (Core or later).
- Solid understanding of event-driven architectures (CQRS, event sourcing, messaging systems).
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
- Frontend development experience with React, TypeScript, or Node.js.
- Exposure to financial services or AI/ML frameworks.
- Advanced experience in Azure PaaS services and cloud-native design
