Our challenge

Our client is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to develop and maintain impactful reporting solutions for a network of over 80 contact centers across various ministries. This role focuses on designing dashboards, analyzing complex datasets, and ensuring data governance to support effective decision-making and operational insights for Albertans.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a Power BI workforce insights dashboard consolidating key HR metrics from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and align on reporting and visualization needs.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, create forecasts, and develop advanced analytical models.
• Develop, test, and deploy dashboards, reports, and complex models to provide actionable insights.
• Manage project tasks, timelines, and risk identification to ensure smooth delivery.
• Create documentation, functional specifications, and conduct user training to facilitate end-user adoption.
• Communicate project progress, findings, and insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance throughout the reporting lifecycle.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and time intelligence functions.
• Proven ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and develop predictive analytics and models.
• Experience developing and supporting complex dashboards, visualizations, and analytics models.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security policies, and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) systems and client interaction data.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders across technical and business teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Azure analytics tools and best practices in data visualization.
