We are partnering with a leading retail and hospitality group to hire a Mobile Tech Lead / Product Owner to drive the strategy, development, and delivery of innovative mobile applications that enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency across the organization's digital ecosystem.
Role
You will lead the end-to-end mobile product vision and technical strategy for the company's customer-facing applications, including loyalty, ordering, and guest engagement platforms.
This role combines technical leadership and product ownership, overseeing the design, architecture, and delivery of native and cross-platform mobile solutions. You will define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and work closely with cross-functional teams across digital, marketing, operations, and technology to ensure the mobile experience supports the company's brand and business objectives.
Key areas of focus include mobile architecture, user experience, system integration, analytics, and performance optimization. You will also play a critical role in evaluating new technologies, ensuring scalability and reliability, and guiding a team of developers toward continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirement
You are degree-qualified with 10-15 years of experience in mobile application development and product delivery, ideally within the retail, hospitality, or consumer technology sectors.
Experience in Agile environments and stakeholder management across business and technical teams is essential.
You have a proven track record of delivering high-traffic consumer apps, leading product roadmaps, and aligning mobile solutions with business and customer needs.
You are both strategic and delivery-focused, capable of balancing user experience, technical excellence, and commercial outcomes.
