The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and security frameworks that power our cloud-based software products. The role focuses on automation, reliability, and security across all environments to ensure consistent and efficient delivery of software.
We work with a modern tech stack including React, TypeScript, Unity/C#, .NET, and Python, supported by automated CI/CD and cloud infrastructure. As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll ensure our systems run securely, seamlessly, and at scale.
Tasks
Infrastructure and Cloud Management
- Design, maintain, and improve AWS containerized cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Manage AWS infrastructure, compute, storage, database, and identity services across all product environments
- Implement infrastructure as code using CloudFormation or Terraform
- Monitor and optimize resource usage, system performance, network reliability and infrastructure costs
- Support infrastructure requirements across cloud frontend, backend, and VR solutions
CI/CD and Automation
- Maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines for Unity, cloud projects
- Automate build, testing, and deployment processes to increase delivery speed and reduce manual effort
- Ensure reliable and repeatable deployments across all teams
- Collaborate with developers to improve pipeline efficiency and resolve build or deployment issues
- Integrate automated quality checks, testing stages, and deployment validationsSecurity and Compliance
- Implement and uphold security best practices across infrastructure and application layers, collaborating with development and security teams
- Ensure robust access management, encryption, and secret storage practices across all cloud services.
- Monitor for vulnerabilities and address potential threats proactively
- Implement secure network configurations and ensure controlled access to systems and data
Monitoring and Reliability
- Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems across all environments
- Use tools such as CloudWatch, ELK, or Grafana to ensure visibility into performance and uptime
- Support troubleshooting and incident response, including root cause analysis
- Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems
Collaboration and Teamwork
- Work cross-functionally across all teams to ensure infrastructure, deployment, and security needs are met
- Collaborate closely with product development teams to align technical solutions
- Communicate progress, challenges, and risks transparently within and across teams
- Provide guidance and mentorship on DevOps and security practices
- Participate in planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives to strengthen collaboration and delivery
Requirements
- Strong experience managing and automating AWS cloud infrastructure, including infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline automation (e.g., GitHub Actions, TeamCity) and containerized deployments using Kubernetes or Amazon Fargate
- Solid troubleshooting skills for infrastructure, deployment, and reliability issues
- Understanding of cloud security, network configurations, and IAM management
- Experience supporting diverse technology stacks (React/TypeScript, .NET, C#/Unity, Python)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and a proactive mindset focused on stability, scalability, and security
