We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer with a strong software engineering background and deep expertise in generative AI, multi-agent system design, guardrails, monitoring, and evaluation methodologies.
You will work in a AI Team focused on developing internal AI agents, automation workflows, and an AI orchestration platform that will support the productivity of our engineers across the organization and build, and scale our internal AI agent ecosystem from the ground up.
This role is hands-on, impactful, and ideal for someone who wants to build real production AI systems.
What you will do
- Build lightweight tools, servers, and orchestration layers (e.g. MCP servers) that enable agents to operate reliably in production
- Architect and deliver agentic systems for internal engineering use cases: code analysis, documentation generation, SDLC automation, and troubleshooting assistance, etc.
- Take full ownership from prototyping and development through production deployment and maintenance
- Develop and maintain RAG pipelines, vector search, and semantic retrieval layers for knowledge-intensive applications
- Develop and refine LLM-based solutions including prompt engineering, performance evaluation, and cost optimization
- Build integrations between agents and internal tools (ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, observability platforms, internal knowledge bases)
- Define and enforce security controls including prompt sanitization, access control, audit trails, threat modeling, injection defense, and hallucination mitigation
- Establish comprehensive monitoring and evaluation methods for multi-agent systems measuring accuracy, safety, cost, and latency
- Keep up with the latest developments in LLMs, agent frameworks, workflow engines, and evaluation methodologies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand their needs, build relationships, and expand AI adoption across the organization
What we are looking for (Must-Have)
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent degree
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python skills and OOP fundamentals (Javaor .NET is a plus)
- Proven ability to design and architect agentic systems from scratch, including multi-agent orchestration and planning/reasoning flows
- Hands-on experience building production agentic AI applications using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI or similar
- Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.)
- Strong API and microservices development experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django
- Enterprise integration skills using RESTful APIs and event driven integration patterns (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Experience crafting prompts for enterprise tasks
- RAG pipeline expertise: vector databases, embeddings, semantic retrieval, and hybrid search methods
- Production system experience: CI/CD, containerization, testing, observability, and deployment best practices
- Strong understanding of agent safety, bias mitigation, transparency, and ethical design practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to work autonomously in a "build from scratch" environment
Nice to Have
- Background in banking, fintech, or regulated industries with sensitive data handling
- Open-source contributions or experience integrating agent frameworks into real-world applications with measurable impact
