Logistics Coordinator - Site Operations (Outsourced)

We are hiring for a Logistics Coordinator for our team, which would be an off-structure and outsourced role.

The position will be under sponsorship and payrolls of our empaneled consultant.

• An Ideal candidate should be a Bachelor of Engineering in civil discipline with min. 4 years of experience in logistics management at a construction or real estate site in Qatar.
• Should be locally available with valid QID and LMV driving license.

The logistics coordinator will be responsible to ensure that overall Project Logistics Plan should be facilitated for a smooth and successful development of Lusail projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Overseeing contractors' logistics team and preparing daily report for Logistics team in QD.
• Overseeing logistics/ traffic management plan and support contractor on timely implementation, ongoing maintenance and safe operations.
• Overseeing site storage and office facilities of contractor are in line with the approved plan.
• Reviewing dewatering plan and providing adequate routing plan for the committee approval.
• Monitoring, facilitating and reporting timely resolution of all critical interphase logistical issues.
• Participating and preparing inventory report for Surplus committee.
• Reviewing and commenting on issuance of online site entry application and building completion certificates.
• Reviewing technical submissions associated with logistics method statements, major movement of site possessions like machinery/ equipment and coordinating with different contractors for seamless process.
• Overseeing requirements and ensuring all contracts related to fleets, site maintenance and complied with agreed terms and conditions and conducting site visits on regular basis.
• Coordinating for stockpile material movement through issuance of mandatory gate passes and control measures.
• Conducting regular site meetings with contractor representatives to establish logistics plan and induct new contractors, construction packages and developer personnel.
