At RUBIX, we help our clients do great things with their data. We’re looking for an experienced Analytics & Insights Manager to lead a small, high-performing team for one of our enterprise retail clients.

This role is all about shaping the data and insights function, building on solid foundations while steering the strategy toward the next evolution in analytics. You’ll balance strategic thinking with hands on leadership, guiding your team through delivery while influencing senior business stakeholders.

Contract: 6 months (starting asap)

Location: Melbourne (Hybrid)

What you’ll be working on:

• Leading the Analytics & Insights team to deliver trusted data and actionable insights.
• Driving data comprehension and adoption across the business.
• Supporting existing data environments while developing future strategy in collaboration with the CIO.
• Establishing standards for data management, reporting and governance.
• Overseeing development, support and performance optimisation for enterprise grade data systems.
• Collaborating with internal IT, franchisees and group stakeholders to align analytics and business goals.

What you’ll bring:

• 10+ years experience in BI, Analytics and Insights leadership.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication across business and IT.
• Experience defining data and analytics strategy in large, complex environments.
• Hands on technical background with SQL, Cognos, Azure, Power BI and modern data platforms.
• Knowledge of ETL, data warehouse design, dimensional modelling and data governance frameworks.
• Proven ability to inspire teams, influence direction and drive delivery.
• Experience in retail or similar enterprise environments (highly advantageous).
