Our client is looking for a Network Engineer to join them on a contract basis.

Please be aware this for this role the successful candidate must have a Belgium residence.

You will be based out of their Brussels office and will be required to go into the office 50% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the daily management of the remote access services (Cisco Anyconnect)
• Participate in the remote access services
• Understand business needs and translate them in IT solutions.
• Manage & monitor all related assets with our monitoring tools
• As specialist you need to be able to troubleshoot complex incidents related to your technology & follow-up the incidents (Service Now)
• Understanding the squad network topologies/devices & there functionality.
• Update the assigned systems to solve vulnerabilities & comply with mandatory regulations
• You are in the lead to explain the changes within the change management meetings, local & of the group .
• Update & maintain as-built design documents
• Participate in daily management of the Firewalls (Fortinet) in Branch with local Fortinet Management stations
• Participate in the daily management of Firewalls and Switches (Fortinet) with management in FortiCloud
• Maintain the Fortinet VPN + EMS solution put in place for the Bpost agents.

Required Skills:

• Experience with network equipment, daily management,
• incident solving and migration/upgrade projects
• Senior experience with the following products:
• Cisco Anyconnect
• RSA
• Cisco switching & routing
• Fortinet firewalls & Fortinet Manager
• Speaks French or Dutch
