Devops Engineer

Location: Luxembourg (Onsite)

Contract Type: Freelance Contract

Daily Rate: 450 euros

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a leading organisation in the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with development, operations, and security teams to streamline and enhance the software delivery lifecycle
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in build, test, and deployment workflows
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Maven
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible, and HELM
• Manage and scale container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes for high-availability financial environments
• Monitor and optimize performance, reliability, and security across AWS and Azure cloud platforms
• Integrate continuous code quality and security checks using SonarQube

Requirements

• M.Sc. degree or equivalent applied experience
• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure provisioning (AWS & Azure) with advanced knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Linux, and HELM
• 5+ years coordinating 2nd-level production support for business-critical applications within large IT teams (20+ members)
• Proven expertise in CI/CD and automation using Jenkins, Maven, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes
• Proficiency with GitHub, Nexus, and AzureSea
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on reliability and risk mitigation
• 3+ years of experience working in Agile environments (SCRUM / Kanban)
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Anaconda and Python
