Network Engineer

Role: Network Engineer / Cloud Platform Engineer

On-site rate: €550/day

Remote rate: €350/day

Duration: 2 years + extensions

Hybrid: Strasbourg, France On-site presence required one week per month

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our client that is in the public sector on a 2‑year contract with strong potential for extensions. This is a hybrid role requiring periodic on‑site presence one week per month.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (IP subnetting, VLANs).
• Experience working in large-scale environments (banking, military, service providers).
• Change management experience, including knowledge of ServiceNow and firewall rule lifecycle processes.
• Expertise with Checkpoint and FortiGate firewalls, including associated security skills.
• Experience or basic understanding of Cisco ACI.
• Strong communication skills and excellent English proficiency.
