We are searching for a SENIOR AUTOMATION TESTER!

RESPONSABILITES & REQUIREMENTES:

• Temporary project (9 months), with a high possibility of becoming a permanent contract.
• You will be part of the Data Science and Analytics team, at the heart of OutSystems' decision-making.
• Collaborating with company stakeholders, you will work in a broader Data area, encompassing Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Platform Management, and Analytics Enablement.
• Your main objective is to transform data, reports, and analytics into business value.
• In addition, you will contribute to the technical and business maturity of the team, driving best practices and improvements as part of the Data Center of Excellence and mentoring less experienced Data team members or business partners with less data knowledge.
• Create impactful and engaging data visualizations, interactive dashboards, and data narratives to communicate results and insights from complex analyses.
• Create and maintain BI reports based on diverse systems and data, using technology to scale team efforts, increasing efficiency and productivity with data visualization tools such as Power BI and/or Shiny.
• Perform advanced data analysis and modeling, ensuring data quality for analysis.
• Work with stakeholders to understand their real business needs, acting as a strategic consultant for the company.
• Collaborate with the Engineering and Data Architecture teams to design and optimize our data lake, enabling more efficient analyses and self-service solutions for data analysis.
• Mentor and train junior team members, supporting them in their deliverables and monitoring the quality of their work.
• Qualifications/Requirements for Success (Provided by the hiring manager).
• More than 8 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
• Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of experience with visual BI analytics tools (preferably Power BI).
• Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL.
• Knowledge of R or Python programming language for data analysis. Experience with Shiny is an advantage.
• Critical thinking: exploring data, identifying trends, and drawing new conclusions based on findings, in a business-focused manner.
• Proven ability to conduct data trend analysis and create reporting dashboards.
• Excellent communication skills: empathy and active listening; good presentation skills, with clear speech and ease in communicating complex ideas.
• Ability to collaborate with a cross-functional team.
