AI Consultant

We are working with a leading creative technology studio, known for designing large-scale immersive, projection, and motion-graphic experiences, is seeking an AI Consultant to help introduce and embed artificial intelligence within its animation and production pipelines.

The studio blends art, light, and technology to create stunning visual experiences for major brands and destinations. They’re now looking to make AI a core part of their creative workflow - increasing efficiency and empowering artists.

The Opportunity

This role is for a hands-on AI specialist who understands both creative production and technical systems. You’ll lead the design, prototyping and integration of AI and automation tools within the studio’s animation, motion design, and visual effects workflows.

You’ll work closely with technical artists, motion designers, and developers to reduce repetitive manual work, streamline delivery, and explore creative uses of AI across immersive and visual projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an AI adoption roadmap focused on animation and motion graphics pipelines.
• Identify production bottlenecks and create proof-of-concept tools that deliver measurable improvements.
• Integrate AI-driven processes into existing DCC workflows (After Effects, Nuke, Houdini, Blender, Unreal, or similar).
• Build production-ready scripts, plugins or automation tools (Python, PySide, command-line utilities).
• Evaluate and fine-tune existing AI models for image, motion and video tasks.
• Deliver documentation and training so production teams can use new tools confidently.
• Support creative directors in identifying new client offerings enabled by AI-driven workflows.

Ideal Background

• Technical artist, pipeline TD, or R&D developer who’s already explored AI-assisted content creation.
• Experience in immersive, LED or projection-based environments a strong plus.
• Comfortable balancing experimentation with production reliability.
• Passionate about making AI genuinely useful to artists and producers — not just theoretical.

Contract Details

Duration: 3–6 months (with option to extend or hire permanently)

Location: Hybrid – Central London studio with remote flexibility
