Node.js Developer (Freelance)

About The Role
Scale Tech is looking for a Node.js Developer to join an exciting new startup project — a Crowdfunding/Loans platform designed for the European market. This is a great opportunity to be part of a small, focused team building a product from scratch, using modern technologies and best practices.

The project will start as a web-based platform, with mobile apps planned after the initial release.

The team consists of 6 members, will work together over 6–8 months to create the MVP version.

After launch, the project will move into support and new feature development, including mobile app development.

What You Will Do

• Develop and implement backend services and APIs using Node.js
• Collaborate with a small, cross-functional team (around 5 people) to design and build the initial version of the platform
• Contribute to setting up project architecture and development workflows
• Work closely with frontend and mobile developers to ensure smooth integration and scalable backend solutions
• Take part in future feature development and system improvements as the product grows
• (Optional) Explore and get familiar with Flutter, as mobile applications are planned in later phases
  
  
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Core: At least 3+ years of experience of hands-on development using Node.js
• Nice to have: Basic familiarity with Flutter. (or willingness to learn)
