At Omniva, every delivery carries possibility — and every team member helps make that happen.

About The Role

We’re looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join our Information Security and Privacy team.

In this role, you’ll help protect Omniva’s digital services and customers by identifying and fixing security vulnerabilities before attackers do. You’ll collaborate closely with Engineering, Compliance, Product, and SOC teams to strengthen our infrastructure, reduce risk, and improve incident detection and response.

This is an opportunity to be part of Omniva’s transformation, helping shape the future of logistics and technology across the Baltics and beyond.

What You’ll Do

  • Strengthen Omniva’s security posture by planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and upgrading security measures across infrastructure, cloud, and applications.
  • Partner with engineering and IT teams to embed security-by-design principles into development and deployment processes.
  • Implement and maintain technical security controls, ensuring compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIS2 requirements.
  • Investigate and respond to complex security incidents, improving detection and response capabilities.
  • Automate recurring security tasks and develop tools that make security easier and faster for others to adopt.
  • Provide security guidance and mentoring to engineers and stakeholders, promoting a proactive security culture.

What You Bring

  • Proven expertise in cyber security engineering, such as vulnerability management, application or cloud security, or threat detection
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Microsoft Defender, or similar
  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, container security, and CI/CD security practices
  • Strong understanding of security architecture and design principles
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • A collaborative, curious, and growth-oriented mindset
  • Fluent in English (Estonian, Latvian, or Lithuanian is a plus)

Why you’ll love working here

At Omniva, we live our values every day.

We care — about our people, our customers, and the world we connect.

We are open — to new ideas, innovation, and learning from each other.

We are trustworthy — we do what we promise and take pride in getting it right.

And we enjoy our work — celebrating progress, teamwork, and shared achievements.

You’ll also benefit from:

  • Health insurance or sports compensation
  • Five additional vacation days after two years
  • Opportunities for personal and professional growth
