Network Security Engineer

Tasks and responsibilities

• Evaluate, configure, install, and operate networking and network security solutions
• Develop, document, and present technical solution concepts
• Contribute expertise to projects as a core team member
• Support the support organization with deep technical know‑how
• Perform fault analysis, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high network availability

Must-have criteria

• Several years of experience operating and improving firewall solutions and enterprise networks
• Hands-on knowledge in at least some of: NAC, WAF, load balancing, DNS, DHCP, monitoring
• Service‑oriented, collaborative, proactive, and structured working style
• Willingness to work during off‑peak hours when needed

Nice-to-have criteria

• Experience creating internal documentation and presenting technical concepts

Language requirements

• Excellent German and English, written and spoken
