As we strengthen our footprint across Switzerland’s industrial ecosystem, we are looking for our next Business Manager specialized in Engineering & Industry 4.0 — a builder mindset, passionate about innovation, people, and performance.

Your Mission

Understanding Clients’ Needs & Business Development

• Identify and analyze strategic and operational challenges in the engineering and industrial sectors (energy, pharma, mobility, watchmaking, manufacturing, etc.).
• Develop long-term partnerships with key accounts, from SMEs to major industrial groups.
• Promote Ivy’s expertise in digital transformation, automation, industrial IT, and engineering consulting.
• Contribute to the commercial development of our Industrial Business Unit through proactive prospecting and strategic account mapping.

Account & Project Management

• Oversee the commercial and operational delivery of projects, ensuring quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.
• Support the implementation of high-value industrial solutions (Industry 4.0, IoT, data analytics, automation systems, digital twins, etc.).
• Coordinate closely with project leaders, consultants, and engineering experts to align business needs and technical execution.

Talent Acquisition & Team Leadership

• Recruit and manage a team of consultants and engineers in line with your business strategy.
• Support their growth through career management, training, and continuous feedback.
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation within your team.

Financial & Strategic Management

• Drive the financial performance (P&L) of your perimeter.
• Ensure healthy growth by balancing commercial objectives, delivery quality, and team well-being.
• Contribute to strategic decisions related to market development and industrial partnerships.

About You

• You have a first experience in engineering consulting, industrial project management, or business development within an Industry 4.0 environment.
• You are fluent in French and English (German is a plus).
• You are curious about technologies shaping the future of industry: IoT, robotics, automation, AI, data, and smart manufacturing.
• You have a consulting mindset — analytical, adaptable, and client-oriented.
• You are driven by growth, leadership, and impact — ready to build something meaningful with us.
