Supermega Design is a design company working toward creating Super Interfaces.

We design digital products and brands that people love using.

We believe great design respects not only functionality but, most importantly, how it makes people feel. We transform mundane interactions into meaningful experiences through empathy, craft, rigorous research and systematic experimentation.

We are designers, thinkers, builders, and optimists. We believe that to make things better, you have to make them different. We believe in the power of Super Interfaces, interfaces that are not just usable, but beautiful, intuitive and emotionally resonant.

We're AI-native in the most practical sense. We use LLMs to automate workflows, create content and multiply our output, visual models expand our creative exploration and ai coding tools to accelerate prototyping.

We are having fun on this journey, and we live what we do.

We're building for the future. As we grow and refine how we work, we're looking for a Middleweight Product Designer who shares our obsession with craft and our belief in Super Interfaces.

Middleweight Product Designer @ Supermega Design

The Middleweight Product Designer at Supermega Design is part craft obsessive, part systems thinker, part world-builder.

-> You will work on consumer mobile apps, AI-native products, and digital experiences. You understand that design is not just problem-solving, it is, most importantly, creating experiences people love.

-> You will be able to take a rough direction and transform it into a complete experience.

-> You understand the importance of design craft at the detail level. You see design as a practice, not just a profession. You have strong opinions about what makes interfaces work, backed by experience that taught you when to break rules and when to respect them.

-> The MPD at Supermega will be comfortable working with AI as a design tool. You use Claude, Midjourney, or similar tools to research faster, explore more directions, and accelerate your thinking. You understand that AI amplifies craft, but doesn't replace it.

-> You will also interface with developers and understand the constraints and possibilities of modern web and mobile technologies. You know enough about React, SwiftUI, or React Native to design things that can actually be built.

-> You will have the opportunity to shape consumer products from earliest conversations through launch and beyond. Your work will be seen by thousands or millions of users. Your design decisions will directly impact how people feel when they use the products we create.

-> The MPD we're looking for will also be a student of design. You study the interfaces you admire. You constantly evolve your perspective on what great interface means.

It's a Match If You:

 - Have 3-5 years designing digital products end-to-end. From discovery to delivery, with a portfolio showing clean UX, refined UI, and thoughtful problem-solving

 - Know Figma inside-out and can shape early concepts into modular, scalable design systems

 - Design platform native mobile experiences for iOS and Android with obsessive attention to platform conventions

 - Use AI to amplify your craft. Improve your workflow with latest models. Understand how to design intuitive experiences around LLMs, how to handle unpredictable outputs, and create intelligent systems around it.

 - Ship fast without sacrificing quality. You organize your work with little help, move from concept to complete systems in weeks, and thrive in high-performance, low-ego environments

 - Love learning and experimenting. Study great design obsessively and constantly evolve your perspective on what an exceptional interface means.

If you love your craft and are a practitioner of it, if you can think independently and collaborate generously, if you believe that great design comes from caring deeply about every detail—we would love to hear from you.
