Description

One of our leading clients in the Fintech domain is looking for a skilled Java Developer to join their Front Office Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance systems supporting mission-critical trading and risk platforms. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where technology, precision, and collaboration are key to success.

You will partner with traders, quants, and cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable solving complex challenges in real-time trading environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, efficient, and scalable backend systems for front-office trading and control platforms.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure accurate and compliant data flow.
• Enhance performance, stability, and reliability of existing systems.
• Troubleshoot critical production issues and implement long-term fixes.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and continuous system improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial Java experience (core and enterprise-level).
• Solid understanding of Spring / Spring Boot frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Python or C++ is advantageous.
• Familiarity with SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) principles or CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Git and modern version control practices.
• Experience with Microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed system design.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
